Introduction: Aluminum Lance Pipe
The Ceramic Coated Lance Pipe (CC) is generally used in the making of silicon metal. However, since iron (Fe) becomes impure when it dissolves into silicon metal, therefore the CC lances cannot be used in the effectiveness for production of pure silicon metal. Thus, the aluminum lance pipe is used for better manufacturing of pure silicon metal.
Since the melting point (The melting point of Aluminum is around 660℃) of aluminum is lower than that of iron, so aluminum lances cannot serve alone as lance pipes.
Therefore, our Aluminum Lance Pipes (AL), are produced from an aluminum pipe with a layer of thick refractory ceramic coating, applied on surface of the aluminum pipe by a special method which develops and supplies products appropriate for silicon metal production. The double ceramic coating is done to ensure the durability for higher performance.

Silicon metal is treated to produce solar panels by using aluminum lance pipes. As the main ingredient to manufacture the solar panels is silicon metals, we have produced the aluminum lances in addition to normal oxygen lances to help in the production of solar panels.

Real time performance with Aluminum Lance Pipe
The findings from our real time performance with Aluminum Lance Pipe are as below:
Capacity of silicon metal furnace: 4-5 tons per heat.
Smelting temperature: around 1,650℃ – 1,800℃.
Oxygen blowing time in normal circumstances: a 5.5m lance would take approx. 3 – 7 minutes/ heat.
Oxygen blowing time in competent working conditions: in a 3m lance, it takes approx. 2 – 3 minutes/ heat to absorb 1.5m lance.
Average consumption of Ceramic Coated Aluminum Pipe: in a 1/2″ x 5.5m pipe, it takes either 1/3rd part of the pipe/heat or 1/2 of pipe/ heat or 1 pipe/heat depending on the usage control of the operator.
