Today we are going to introduce about Thermic Lance Pipe with special length.
Introduction- Thermic Lance Pipe: 6M Length.

Thermic Lance Pipe is a steel pipe filled with wires or mixture of wires and inner pipe. It generates a powerful flame of up to 4,000℃ while burning.
The two main types of Thermic Lance Pipes are:
TYPE-T
It produces a straight flame with high speed
TYPE-W
It produces wide flame with higher temperature than TYPE-T.
6M Length Thermic Lance Pipe:
Generally, in most of the cases two pieces of Thermic Lance Pipes of 3.0M each are used to connect to make adequate distance from the target. As a consequence, the fire ceases at the connection (thread) portion as no wires are present in the socket and then ignites again.
To avoid this trouble, Daiwa has started manufacturing the 6.0M long Thermic Lance Pipe where there is no requirement of connecting any pipes and the fire also passes smoothly without any hindrance.

The size of the pipe is: 3/8” (OD 17.3mm) x 6.0M long; Type – T. Type – T is used for this long length pipe for easy operations and better flow of oxygen. Generally, 40’ dry container is used to deliver this pipe.

Some of the important uses of the Thermic Lances:
These Thermic Lances are used primarily for the below purposes:
- Cleaning ladle
Removal of stuck metal or slag at dangerous areas.
These Thermic Lances also has other areas of applications.
