ISO stands for International Organization for Standardization which was established in 1946. This standard aims at ensuring quality and safety to both products and services in international trade. The main purpose of this standard is to make global exchange of goods and services easier, convenient and efficient. Though the standards set by ISO are voluntary in nature, more and more countries accept ISO standard as a mandatory requirement.

ISO standard ensures quality and safety to both products and services in International Market. DLI has renewed their certifications of ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015 on 8th Jan,2021 approved by Bureau Veritas.

ISO is derived from the Greek word “ISOS” meaning equal. As ISO although has different acronyms for different languages, the organizers decided to give it an abbreviation form as ISO. Mainly, English, French and Russian are the three official languages for ISO.

  • ISO 14001: Environmental Management System

ISO 14001 is a set of standards relating to environmental management to assist organizations in reducing their adversative effects on the environment, and in conforming with other environmental laws, regulations and policies.
