Thermal Lances are used by many customers throughout the world. Many of them contemplates the safety and success of using Thermic Lance. It is usually used in steel mills, or construction sites as its small size and proven capability to cut solid and large pieces of steel scraps by generating a high temperature of up to 3,000oC ~ 4,000oC.
Therefore, today we are going to discuss about the steps to be followed for using Thermic Lances safely and effectively.

Step 1: Preparing the Safety Tools
One of the most preliminary tips to using Thermic Lance with usefulness is to prepare all necessary safety equipment to protect the worker during handling time. Also, the position of the operator is somehow closed to the area of cutting wastes in a scrap yard. Therefore, planning is a crucial step for highly effective shield.

Step 2: Preparation of Operating Equipment
The next step right after the preliminary step of the formulation of safety tools. Checking the Oxygen Quantities with detailed Oxygen Flow and Pressure Level, managed by Oxygen Regulator and Oxygen Hose. This action will help the operator before putting the Thermic Lance to the whole system.

Step 3: Adjusting Ignition and Handling Position
The most crucial part is the process of setting up the Holder, connecting the Thermic Lance and operating from the correct position.
The steps below describes this in a detailed way:
| Steps | Instructions |
| Set up Holder | |
| Connect Thermic Lance to Holder | |
| Connect the Oxygen pipe to Holder | |
| Use an acetylene torch to heat one end to red hot, then start blowing oxygen | |
| [Position to control] Keep safety distance and Keep Thermic Lance at around 60 degrees angle | |
| [Additional Step as Routine] Connect to the next piece of Thermic Lance in terms of continuing cutting | |
Conclusion:
Controlling and operating Thermic Lance is important for the operators to control the pipes with safety and makes the running efficiently for cost saving. This piece of information will help the users to understand the step-by-step operation to use the Thermic Lance.
