Manufacturing of steel is a continuous activity hence stocking ample materials are essential. Thus, many customers are likely to keep Calorized lance pipes in stocks for further use in the warehouse. Some customers are even worried about whether the remaining condition of Calorized lance is still the same in the case of long-time stock or not. At times, due to the warehouse being fully loaded, the customers put Calorized lance pipes outdoor under the rain and the pipes gets fully soaked.

There are faced some issues that occur due to the wet surrounding stock areas such as formation of white coloring (Efflorescence phenomenon), and red spotting on Calorized lance pipes. Mostly, the quality remains the same under proper conditions, though, keeping pipes in the good-conditioned warehouse is our suggestion to make the production under safety and best execution.

Therefore, today we shall discuss about the suggestions regarding the conditions of Calorized lance pipes under wet and rainy conditions and the types of rusting formed.

Stabilizing the Quality of Calorized Lance for Long Time Stock

Efflorescence Phenomenon (White Coloring)

The sodium component in the ceramic coating of Lance pipe, which reacts with carbon dioxide in the air causes white casting on the surface of the ceramic coating. It is called the “Efflorescence phenomenon”. It generally occurs when the temperature and the humidity both are high.

We are pleased to assure you that this phenomenon will not impact the performance of Lance pipes.

Dotted Red Rust

In the Calorized lance pipe production process, fine iron powder is often burned on top of the surface of the Calorized Lance pipe, and as a result the red rust is formed in dotted pattern due to the hot and humid environment.

Therefore the suggestion is to put the lances in scattered form so it will not affect the performance of the pipe, and you can use it with confidence. In this case, the quality of Calorized Lance remains both intact and safe.

Protection of Calorized Lances

We suggest storing the Lance pipes indoor in a well-ventilated location which will forbid the rain. Up on long storage in a hot and humid atmosphere, may cause heavy Efflorescence and Red rust.
If the Lance pipes gets wet in the rain, we suggest unpacking it and wiping it off one by one to dry. Please be aware that the pipes must be properly dried before consuming it in the steel manufacturing process, otherwise, in some cases, it may be dangerous to be exploded due to wet state of the pipes.
You can even use the lance pipes for 5 years or longer in terms of providing a dry and good stocking warehouse.

Conclusion:

The European Commission wants to revive Europe’s solar producing industry by unveiling a large-scale solar energy rollout. The plan is part of a larger effort to prevent countries off Russian fossil resources entirely.

Our OEM being a leading steel pipe producer, is one of the alternative areas that supports preserving the steel production in Vietnam and many countries stable during this volatile period.
