Today, we are introducing Daiwa make – Thermic Lance Pipe.
Introduction – Daiwa’s Thermic Lance Pipe

Thermic Lance Pipe is made up of steel which when heated in the presence of oxygen, melts the steel to generate high temperature for cutting. Daiwa’s Thermic Lance Pipe is a steel tube filled with wires on the inner portion of the pipes which produces high heat up to 4,000℃. When oxygen is blown through the pipe it produces high heat which burns itself for cutting other objects.
Reaction:
Fe+O2—> Fe2O3+ Heat reaction.
There are two types of Daiwa’s Thermic Lance Pipe:
Type-T (Double Tube Pipe):
This pipe produces straight flame of high temperature to splash out materials for making holes or breaking it up quickly. This is used for cutting purpose.

Specification of Type-T Pipe:
Type-W (Fully packed wires):
This pipe produces wider flames of high temperature than Type-T pipe to melt solid materials with high melting point. This pipe is appropriate to eliminate solid metals.

Applications:
Daiwa’s Thermic Lance Pipes has a huge area of applications:
- Cutting heavy metals
- Removal of stuck metal
- Skull shaped metal cutting
- Slag, iron or other metal cutting
- Stainless, nickel, concrete or refractory cutting.
